Windermere Lodge is a privately owned pine lodge, providing luxurious self-catering holiday accommodation for up to 4 people in the heart of the English Lake District.

Nestling at the foot of the Troutbeck valley, our log cabin is only 3 miles from Lake Windermere but it is a world away from the bustle of Ambleside and Bowness. Windermere Lodge is perfectly placed for a peaceful holiday whilst being close enough to the major visitor centres for those who want to explore the Lake District.

This spacious self-catering log cabin, located within the award winning Limefitt Park in Troutbeck is situated less than 30 minutes drive from Junction 36 of the M6.

John & Linda are delighted to announce that this web site won Cumbria Tourism’s coveted “Tourism Website of the Year” award for 2008. The award was made at the local tourism “Oscars” held at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on 13th May. This means that we go on to represent Cumbria in the prestigious England’s Northwest Tourism Awards in October 2008. Wish us luck!
