The River PoolThe River Pool at Limefitt Park is always a great hit with children of all ages. Normally slow flowing and waist-deep water turn this into a sort of open air swimming pool with overhanging rope swings. Please ensure that young children are properly supervised at all times in the vicinity of the river pool. At times of heavy rain the beck can flow very deep and very fast and at these times the pool is unsuitable for play activities. |

Watch this video of a badger visiting one of our lodges in broad daylight and you will see why!
The park management deliberately set aside large areas of the park from cultivation or development in order to provide a haven a wide variety of flora and fauna.
The result is that if you remain observant you will often see animals that are considered rare in more urban environments.
The golden rule is keep still and let nature come to you!
All of the nature photographs on this page were taken by me in and around Limefitt Park except the best ones, the badger video and photo, which were taken by my 14 year old son, Tom.
